Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She's also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and a former co-host on The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in May 2021 that they would leave the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her increased interest in politics to being an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US election outcome during her time in Jordan. She saw how it affected the citizens of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation for the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congress District for Congress in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. In May 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action group working on behalf of Democratic causes.
